On June 15th Ellison will be going to Children's for a cardio cath. This is to determine which of the three "heart option" proceedures will ultimately bring Ellison her best health. Please pray for us, as we come to some very difficult decisions for our Warrior Princess. It is more than obvious to us that the Lord clearly has a plan for this miricle.

Ellison's Journey begins
Hello Sweet World,
I am Ellison Grace! I was born 12.18.08 at 11:28pm, 6lbs. 2oz., 19 1/2 in long. Although labor was long and the doctors were not sure what to expect with my heart being broken, my Mommy was the first person to hold me as I came out...we were worried we wouldn't get to see each other. Much of my family was there as I entered into the world alert and aware of my surroundings. Daddy followed me as I made my transition to the NICU. I have conquered many things since my first day of life. IVs, jaundice, echo's, disdained belly, not eating, throwing up (yuck ups), the diagnosis of Downsyndrom, biopsies of my intestines, Hirschsprung's disease (which lead to my first surgery), ventilator, "the hood", xrays, BUT most of all not going home with my family. Praise the Lord that my echo's showed that my right ventricle is bigger than the doctors thought and they think they can use my whole heart! That means we must come up with a new plan for what my heart surgeries will be. God and I knew all along that my heart was better than what they saw...silly doctors, God is so good! I'm still struggling to eat well without throwing up, but my oxygen and heart rate are awesome and strong. We are not sure when I will sent home, but my family comes to see me every day...Even my brothers and sister...sometimes. Please continue to pray as the Lord reveals His plan to the doctors and my family. Also if you ask my Mommy and Daddy they would love to show me off to you all.
With Love,
Ellie

Updates
Today we visited with our favorite doctor, Dr. Amy, for our regular check-up. Little Love Bugs heart rate was 153 and I was measuring 35 wks, which is right on target. She is movin' and grovn', enjoying her "room" for the time being. We cannot wait to meet her!
